Entrepreneurship and environmental awareness went hand-in-hand for Novacia – Putney’s Young Entreprise team and proud winners of “Best Sales Team” for their reusable sandwich bags.

Mayor of Wandsworth, Piers McCausland, was on hand to help judge the companies and give the awards which were held as part of Wandsworth Enterprise Month this week.

Eesha M in Year 12 explained how they had come up with the idea:

“Climate change is a huge problem and it affects our generation more than any. It’s our planet and our future – if we don’t make a stand on these issues, how can we expect anyone else to?”
