At Putney, thinking is genuinely “out of the box” rather than “tick the box”. From our Entrepreneurship programme to Biophilic Classroom design and now lessons in Design Thinking, our focus is on building the ‘ideas-makers’ of the future.

Our Values

At Putney High School we are:

Forward-thinking in our approach to teaching and learning, ours is a culture that is modern, relevant and inspires the ideas-makers of the future.

We offer a holistic education that focusses on the individual and is outward looking – encouraging integrity, compassion, respect and social responsibility.

Interested and interesting, we are unafraid to stretch our wings and to blaze trails – curious to explore and to challenge limits

Scholarly in our approach to learning, we are creative in our thinking and bold in our ambitions.

Junior School 4+

We believe that childhood is a time to explore. Our pupils take a passionate interest in the world around them and are prepared to take risks in everything they do.

The Junior School is a happy, stimulating environment where no two days are the same and girls develop a “can do” attitude, ready to embrace new challenges and eager to learn more.
