Wednesday evening saw the Sixth Form students perform their student-led production of Daphne du Maurier’s 1938 novel ‘Rebecca’. The production was written, performed and directed by the students and explored the relationships that the female ‘protagonists’, Rebecca and the elusive Mrs de Winter, form with the house, Manderley. This production aims to afford these characters and their experiences a more balanced presentation, whilst also retaining the charm of the original novel.
