We are fortunate to have the pleasure of Daljit Nagra’s company this week, the prize-winning poet has joined us for a poetry residency, delivering workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one sessions across a number of year groups.

We asked him what he hopes to bring to the students.

“The thing I enjoy is promoting the wealth of the imagination and finding ways to access it….The imagination has its own peculiar way of reasoning  – it helps us become better citizens of the world and better problem-solvers.

“Putney seems to have an awareness of the importance of being creative. I feel it from the teachers and the students”.
