PIE at Lunchtime: Edward Boydell-Live and Let Die

The last PIE talk of the year took place today. Edward Boydell, a barrister from the Pump Court Chambers, gave the talk: ‘Live and Let Die: Should assisted dying be legalised?’.

Edward spoke about the varying attitudes towards assisted dying throughout the world and within different religions. He discussed the current law and possible changes.

The students’ questions focussed on the issue of the mental health of the patients and how consideration of this may affect the law.
