With everyone social distancing at the moment, it’s a chance to start thinking about the different entrepreneurial activities that you could do from the comfort of your home.

We’re all familiar with how to use the internet to consume products and services. Now is the perfect time to start getting creative and use the various digital media platforms that are available to create and sell your own products or services.

Below you can find a few examples to help get creative and start thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset.

TikTok

Everyone’s favourite social network is a great way to launch your business and to sell your products or services. With 800 million monthly active users on the app your potential customer base is huge!

Think what is the latest trend? Can you create something to respond to that and charge for it?

TikTok is currently experimenting with a feature that would let its users buy products featured in videos with just a few clicks. The in-beta link also lets TikTok users to buy products from each other, without ever leaving the app.

Redbubble

Redbubble is a global online marketplace for print-on-demand products based on user-submitted artwork. In simpler terms it’s a website or app that allows you to take your own designs and print them on t-shirts, tote bags, pillows, phone cases and loads more.

A Putney High student sold stickers on Redbubble and did so well that it crashed their app!
