Young Artists’ Royal Academy Summer Show

Congratulations to Emily F in Year 9 whose book art sculpture entitled Matilda has been selected from over 6,200 submissions to join only 138 others on display at the Royal Academy of Arts for their Young Artists’ Summer Show this year.

Her work will be available to view online from 10 June and will be displayed within the hallowed walls of the Royal Academy between 13 July and 4 August.

Thea B in Year 10 will also be displaying her work at the exhibition, along with Joanne H in Year 8. Many congratulations.

Congratulations also go to Maddy C in Year 12, whose oil on canvas, Floating, was one of 700 to make the shortlist.

Prizes will be awarded for two inspiring artworks from each key stage, as chosen by President of the Royal Academy, Christopher le Brun. Students will receive vouchers for art materials plus a free practical workshop for their school.
