Wellbeing Week – Resilient Me!

Community, Events, General, Guests, News, Senior School, Sixth Form

Wellbeing Week – ‘Resilient me’ begins on Monday 21 March with a gratitude wall and a wellbeing panel that will be led by sixth formers. This will be an opportunity for younger students (in Years 7,8 and 9) to submit questions about wellbeing and receive honest and supportive feedback and ideas from an older student’s perspective.

During the week we will look forward to wellbeing walks, mindfulness drop-in sessions, yoga, and the launch of the first episode of our new Thanks for Asking wellbeing podcast; even Putney’s very own dog show.

On Thursday 25 we are delighted to be welcoming guests: Cognitive Neuroscientist Trish Pashazadeh-Allen speaking  about kindness and later that day, Professor Tanya Byron.

Friday will bring an end to our wellbeing week with a ‘wear your own clothes day’ to raise money for Choose Love, who are providing vital aid and services to those still in and fleeing the Ukraine, including: emergency medical care, food, shelter, clothes, legal support, support for the LGBTQIA+ community and mental health support.
