Start it 2023 – Entrepreneurship with St Paul’s Boys

As part of Putney’s commitment to developing entrepreneurial and innovative mindsets we are delighted to be working with St Paul’s Boys School and the West London Partnership to offer GCSE pupils the opportunity to take part in the Start It entrepreneurship course this summer.

It is a fantastic opportunity for students embarking on Sixth Form in September to develop their own sustainable business concepts and pitch in front of a panel of successful Venture Capitalists for a chance to win cash prizes and internship opportunities.

Our students worked in mixed teams with the other partner schools, collaborating on, and learning about the key principles of sustainable business practice. Expert speakers from across West London were on hand to provide key insights on how to be a successful entrepreneur.

Congratulations to Mia Z, Rubani P and Raphaela W (Year 11) who were on the winning team with their “TreeTrainer” idea.
