The Design Technology team are excited to announce that Shirin A in Year 10 has been shortlisted for Design Future London Architecture Competition run by the Mayor of London and George Clarke’s architecture practice, MOBIE!

Design Future London is a school’s challenge opportunity that the Mayor of London, is delivering to young Londoners in partnership with C40, Minecraft Education and Mayor’s Fund for London. The aim of the challenge is to inspire young Londoners to develop an interest in designing beautiful, affordable, and sustainable places to live, work and visit.

Shirin’s research into the lack of safe, accessible and inclusive bike storage in her local neighbourhood inspired this renewable project. Now she has been put forward to the Peoples Vote ahead of the final that will take place in next month in City Hall. You can help by voting for Shirin via the links below.

Her portfolio of research and design can be found via this link as entry number 6/ Team SA: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/collections/c22126e83f8b477981822f85120b7830?item=5
