‘Psychology Live!’ at Disneyland Paris

A group of Y12 and Y13 Psychology students attended a “Psychology Live!” conference in the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.

Students heard from three key speakers, each a specialist in their field. The talks were designed to complement the A Level syllabus whilst also opening their eyes to the reality of three potential career paths in Psychology.

Pupils also heard from a Psychotherapist who specialises in Stress Management techniques; a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who works in prisons across the UK; and a specialist in Hypnotherapy who focuses on the treatment of Phobias.

After the conference, the girls got to enjoy all that Disneyland had to offer, including watching a very impressive fireworks show over the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
