PIE at Lunchtime: Spirit of the Amazon

We were delighted to have alumna and Photojournalist, Sue Cunningham (class of 1967), as our virtual PIE at Lunchtime speaker. Sue discussed her recently launched book Spirit of the Amazon: The Indigenous Tribes on the Xingu.

The book celebrates cultural difference and a call for better stewardship of the world, Spirit of the Amazon tells the story of tribal communities and vibrant cultures through stunning photography and documents cultures, rituals, and the everyday threats facing their lands.
