PIE at Lunchtime: Jermaine Blake on Diversity in Documentary Storytelling

Our PIE at Lunchtime speaker today was Jermaine Blake, Documentary Film and TV Producer and Director.

He spoke about the challenges facing the TV industry in the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter protests last year, as well as the steps that have been taken, and progressions still called for, for equality and diversity.

He gave a fascinating talk to our students about diversity in documentary storytelling, how he got into the profession and the importance of storytelling from multiple perspectives.
