On Wednesday, our sixth formers Lalin and Lilah organised Putney’s first Period Poverty Sewing Marathon Fundraiser in collaboration with ‘The Pachamama Project.’ With the enthusiastic participation of a large group of students from mixed year groups, they not only raised an impressive amount of funds but also crafted a remarkable number of reusable sanitary towels. These essential items will be distributed among women in need, particularly those in refugee camps.
