Last weekend saw the finale of the national netball competition take place at Oundle School in Northamptonshire. Approximately 1,500 schools have taken part over the course of the season.

After an emotional rollercoaster over both days the teams came away with our most successful year ever. Putney U16s beat Solihull School 8-10 to win the title – the second time this age group has been national champions and the third time in a row for our current U15!

Day 2 saw the U14s with an unbeaten set of rounds to take them to the semis and finals. Only three of the team had experienced National Finals before, so it was a big day, culminating in an impressive second place.

Timi A, who played an integral role in Putney’s journey to lifting the trophy, scooped the Gilbert Netball U16 Player of the Tournament accolade.
