Putney High School is spirited, ambitious and relevant. Our forward-thinking approach to education encourages girls to think differently and to stand up and use their voice. Students achieve academically and through developing the real-world skills such as oracy, entrepreneurship and digital wizardry that will give them the edge in a modern world.
Our students leave not only with a top set of results, but with the confidence and the resourcefulness to make their mark in whatever they choose to pursue. Putney is energetic, fun, supportive and above all, down-to-earth.
Friday 8 March – International Women’s Day was a hive of activity at Putney this year.
Crowds gathered outside the long corridor to hear passionate speakers who quite literally “got on their soap box” to talk about issues that mattered to them.
Sixth formers, Aya and Eesha have been running a Mad4Padz campaign in an effort to raise awareness of period poverty. They have been coordinating the donation of sanitary pads to distribute to women’s shelters.
