EPQ Evening 2019

Events, News, Senior School, Sixth Form

The highly regarded Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) allows students to study, build and present a research project in a field of interest.

On Wednesday 6 November our Sixth Form students put on an impressive display of their individual research projects in the Performing Arts Centre. Staff, students and parents gathered to discuss the many chosen topics, to read their summarised findings and to hear a number of presentations.

Project titles this year included:

To what extent would a substantial increase in veganism across the world benefit the environment?

Which incentive do humans respond to most effectively – economic, social or moral?

To what extent can Herodotus’ “The Histories” truly be considered a history?

It was an impressive display of work. Well done to all of those involved.
