EPQ Evening 2020

This year, our EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) evening took a different form to usual.

The 32 Sixth Form students who have undertaken an EPQ presented the PDF versions of their project posters on Firefly for the whole school community to view.

Dr Mellor introduced the virtual event and there were also full presentations by a number of students.

There were a wealth of fascinating titles among the projects undertaken this year. Among the highlights are some particularly topical subjects:

  • “Can behavioural economics be used to combat climate change?” by Holly J.
  • “To what extent is Trump justified to start a trade war with China?” by Camelia M.
  • “Should DSD athletes be allowed to compete without medication in women’s athletics?” by Phoebe S.
