Our annual Diversity Week provides the perfect opportunity to look a little deeper into different cultures and life experiences. This year, we will focus on race, religion, sexuality and disability.
There will be a variety of interesting activities for students to be involved in throughout the week, to compliment aspects of the curriculum already taught to students, for example the Year 9 Message Project, where students choose a political, social, or cultural issue to research and create artworks about. They look at protest and political art and respond to artists with placard style, mixed media artworks. Students have been making work all year in response to themes such as BLM, LGBTQ+, Climate Change and Food Poverty.
