Chemistry trip to Lisbon

News, Senior School, STEM, Trips

Chemistry students from Years 9 and 10 visited sunny Lisbon over half term. They had a wonderful time learning about the history of pharmacy, marvelling at the uses of chemicals derived from plant extracts as medicines, and of course – playing with giant structures of silicon dioxide for the afternoon (also known as sand!)
