Back to School with Jenny Beavan – The Week Schools Guide

"English with Miss Sackett was my favourite. All these years later I can still remember reams of Shakespeare, John Donne and Robert Frost, and that must be her influence."

Oscar-winning costume designer and Putney Alumna, Jenny Beavan OBE recalls her school days in this week’s The Week, Independent Schools Guide. 

“I started in the senior school when I was 11. These days I can hardly remember where I’ve put my car keys but even now I can take myself up the stairs in Homefield…I loved the formality of our purple and grey uniform.”
