Apple Distinguished Educator

Achievements, General, Interview, Junior School, News, Senior School

We are excited to announce that Hiten Mistry, Putney’s Head of Junior eLearning, has been awarded the coveted accolade of Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE).

ADE was created by Apple to recognise education pioneers who are using Apple technology to transform teaching and learning in powerful ways. The programme, now in its 25th year, has created a worldwide community of creators and innovators in education who are rethinking what is possible with iPad and Mac.

We are extremely proud of Mr Mistry who is one of only 60 individuals who are chosen to receive ADE status in the UK, every two years. He told us,

“As a head of eLearning in the Junior school, I am really passionate about using iPads to enhance the learning experiences of all the girls”. After 16 years in education, I am really excited about being selected to join Apple’s community of distinguished educators.”

“Being an ADE will allow me to collaborate with fellow educators around the world.”
