Today 41 students from five local primary schools visited us to take part in a ‘whodunnit’ drama workshop which saw the school library transformed into ‘Lovegood Manor’ for the afternoon, location of a notorious jewellery heist.

The sleuthing skills of our Year 5 visitors were tested by a team of Year 12 drama students, who formed a cast of mystery characters, and eight very enthusiastic Year 8 mentors. Volunteers from the University of Roehampton also attended the day, supporting the action and getting fully involved.

The workshop, designed and run by Mrs Crocombe, Mr Pattie and Mrs Wilson was a huge success, and we very much look forward to the next workshop in the summer term held at Roehampton University. The summer workshop will have a sustainability theme and see students learning how to grow their own vegetables at the ‘Growhampton’ allotments.
