Summer Holiday Activity Boxes (Year 8)

Putney’s Year 7 & 8 pupils have been fundraising to provide 120 Holiday Activity Boxes for local children as part of West Putney and Roehampton Community Week.

The students have worked in pairs to raise the £12 necessary to pay for the contents of each activity box. (Any surplus funds raised will be donated to the Rackets Cubed food box programme).

The boxes have been filled with identical sets of pens, paints, colouring paper, craft activities, stickers, frisbees, bats and balls, a cookie making kit, bubbles & outdoor chalk. Also, with ideas for games that can be played inside and outdoors.

Year 7 and 8 have spent time during this year’s Activities Week assembling and decorating the boxes which will be taken to Rackets Cubed on Tuesday 29 June.
