Niamh Cooper (pictured left) plays netball for Northern Ireland and Surrey Storm. With 70 international caps under her belt, representing NI at three Commonwealth games and the 2019 netball World Cup, Niamh’s story was an inspiration to all. She is currently a doctor specializing in emergency medicine in the A&E department of the Royal Surrey Hospital.
Melanie Wilson (pictured centre) is a double Olympian and the first British Olympic Medalist ever in the women’s eight rowing event at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Melanie’s journey was particularly inspiring, as she pursued her medical studies during her Olympic career, graduating in 2015, and working as a hospital physician, including in intensive care through the COVID pandemic. She currently works as a GP in South London.
Emma Oakley (pictured right) has been player and captain for both England and Great Britain lacrosse. With 58 caps for England and having recently returned from the world championship where England won their second consecutive bronze medal, Emma juggles her lacrosse commitments with working full-time as a senior account manager at Johnson & Johnson.
