Putney’s U14 and U16 Netball teams both triumphed this weekend in the netball regional competition to go through to Nationals final which will take place on March 12th.

With a high level of competition and playing teams from across the south east of England, Putney were one of only two teams per age group to qualify for the National Championships. This is a huge achievement and a reflection of the excellent standard of netball that Putney has to offer.

Following on from our success two years ago (pre-Covid) where our current U16 team were runners up at Netball National Finals, the current U14 & U16 national squad have been training for this competition since last April.

Players are invited by the coaching team to attend and train and are then selected for the squad a few weeks before county round. Both teams were successful in the county round to qualify for regionals.
