Many congratulations to our Under 13 Handball team who were crowned National Champions at the National Schools England Handball Finals at the University of Nottingham on 19 June 2022. The achievement was all the more remarkable for the fact that this is the first year that Putney has offered the sport.

The U13 team had already showed off their agility and used the skills they had developed through lacrosse and netball, to qualify in the two previous rounds: London and South East Regionals.

Yesterday, they were among the top 10 schools competing in the National Finals. They were undefeated all day and having come top of their group, went on to reach the final which they won 10-4 to be crowned national champions.
