How many of us have stopped to think about the supply chain behind a jar of“Nutella” as we open it to spread on our toast? Well today we did just that, as Corporate Social Responsibility expert, Georgie Erangey came to tell us about her work in the sector.

In the affluent West, we occasionally hear harrowing stories of human rights abuses in the far flung corners of the world that supply many of the goods that each day we take for granted. But new developments such as the UN’s Guiding Principals for Business and Human Rights are raising new awareness of accountability and responsibility, asking not only where responsibility lies, but actually helping to effect change.
