Putney’s U15 and U13 tennis teams went to Gosling Tennis centre to compete in the regional finals of the LTA Team Tennis competition on Thursday 14th Nov.
The teams won their local league in June /July to qualify for the knock out rounds that have taken place throughout September and October (knocking out our tennis rivals, Surbiton High).
At the regional finals, the U15 won their semi-finals match against Bennenden and were runners-up to Queenswood (the top tennis school in the country).
The U13s won their semi-final match against Culford school going on to beat Queenswood in the final. They now have a place at the National finals which will take place on 7-8 December in Bolton at the National Tennis Centre.
