I’m Amba and I am currently studying Maths, Economics, Psychology and an EPQ. I am truly honoured to have been chosen as Head Student and can’t wait to begin the new role. This school has given me so much over the years and I have loved getting involved in all sorts of activities outside of lessons, to help try and make the school fun and engaging for every student.
I’ve been at Putney since Reception and throughout my 13 years here, have seen how Putney genuinely empowers students to further their interests and development through every aspect of school life, both academically beyond the classroom, to the multitude of co-curricular activities on offer. I’ve loved participating in a number of musical ensembles playing double bass and bass guitar, singing in the choir and playing a leading role in some of the school and Sixth Form productions. I have also really enjoyed being Captain of my Lacrosse team which has taught me invaluable teamwork and collaboration skills.
In addition, I started the Multi-Faith Society this year to help all Putney students feel confident and included while celebrating the inclusive and diverse community that is at the core of our school’s culture.
I will work hard as Head Student and always endeavour to ensure that everything I do has the best interests of the pupils and the school at heart.

Hi, I’m Daisy and I’m delighted to be part of this year’s Putney Student Leadership Team. I’m hugely grateful for the chance to be able to work more closely with the staff and students, spreading the Putney positivity and helping everyone explore the vast number of opportunities that the school has to offer.
I’m currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Geography and an EPQ. I’m hoping to apply for medicine at university as my interests lie in STEM subjects. I’ve written for the school STEM magazine and currently help run the STEM club for the younger years to engage and inspire them. Alongside my studies I’m part of the gymnastics squad, lacrosse, and netball teams. I really value the friendship and team spirit this has brought me, and I want to encourage everyone to find their team, whether that be in any area of music, drama, sport, or other pursuits.
Putney has given me confidence, pride, and enthusiasm. With the rest of the team, I will strive to share this with our school community. I’m so excited for what the year ahead holds and to be able to collaborate and hear all your ideas!

Hello, my name’s Taiwo (more popularly known as Tai.) I’m a new student at Putney this year and so far I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. I am absolutely thrilled to have been elected as one of the Head Students and can’t wait to accentuate the various talents already circulating Putney. I’m currently taking Maths, Business and Drama A level and I hope to study Finance and Accountancy at university.
I can’t wait to see what the next year brings, to get to know more of my peers and fellow students, and to make Putney even better than it already is.

Hi, I’m Emily and I’m so excited to be a part of this year’s Head Student Team! I am currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Geography and an EPQ. In the future, I hope to read Biomedical Sciences at university.
I have been a student at Putney since Year 7 and over the years I have loved everything the school has to offer. Alongside my studies, I participate in many extra-curricular clubs and societies, both sporting and academic. For example, I am a member of the gymnastics squad and the first lacrosse team. I also attend Medical Society and I really enjoy leading STEM club for students in younger years. I love the way that Putney provides so many opportunities that have allowed me to discover my interests, develop many new skills and increase my confidence so tremendously.
Putney has really shaped who I am today and I love every aspect of the school! I am so grateful to have such an amazing opportunity to work with staff and students to help ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience here.
