What if learning looked different?
The Artemis Project is a dedicated space in the school week for originality and adventure, time given over to revelling in academic exploration. Artemis blurs subject boundaries, encourages big questions, invention and original thinking.
Named after the goddess Artemis, the project, like NASA’s own, seeks to grow a new generation of explorers – whether interstellar or thoroughly terrestrial – giving students space to stretch their intellectual wings and to throw themselves into the unknown.
Through Artemis we take on the adventure of intellectual discovery, revelling in the thrill of complex problem solving and deepening our ability to critique, create, collaborate and innovate.

Year 13 Leadership Programme: Creating Tomorrow’s Leaders
What is leadership? How can we lead ethically? How can we work together to deliver impact?
Gain the skills, experience, and confidence to lead. Through specialist coaching, develop the skills you need to plan and deliver an academic event, publication, outreach initiative or community project.
Leave Putney a leader with the initiative, organisational skills, and resilience you need to make an impact.
Unashamedly unexamined, the Project, like the goddess herself, is about freedom – freedom to break down traditional disciplinary boundaries, freedom to think differently, freedom to learn differently, freedom to explore the unexpected.
