Over 100 local senior citizens enjoyed their summer party at Putney. Girls provided the musical entertainment, helped to serve food and supplied the prizes for bingo.
Guests of Honour included Mary aged 103 years old and Bill who is 100 years old.
The party was hosted by girls, who served a high tea and chatted with their guests from the local community. Bingo and community singing were particular highlights.
The popular event was even more special as it was the last to be organised by Miss Sally Cockburn, who retires this summer after 19 years at the school.
Guests and girls presented Miss Cockburn with a bouquet of flowers as a mark of their appreciation.
Mrs Pam Sherratt, Chair of Governors, was amongst those to enjoy the event, at which entertainment included music from girls in the Junior and Senior Departments.
