Rowing Supporters’ Association Annual Boat Club Dinner

On Saturday 27 April, the Rowing Supporters’ Association held their annual Boat Club Dinner. The dinner was the biggest to date with over 130 parents, pupils and alumnae attending to celebrate the successes of the Boat Club throughout the past year.
The RSA had aimed to raise £8,000 at the dinner to help secure the purchase of Putney’s first elite Hudson eight. Through ticket sales, generous donations and sponsorship from Douglas & Gordon, the RSA managed to raise over £13,000 at the Dinner.
Thank you to all those who have helped Putney High School purchase the Hudson. The eight will be a permanent resource for the Boat Club from the autumn term and will increase the opportunities on offer to pupils.
