Radio 4’s PM programme got in touch with us on Friday to ask Suzie Longstaff to join a lighthearted discussion about the evolution of the Disney Princess.

Mrs Longstaff boarded the radio car to join (remotely) the BBC’s Johnny Diamond and film critic, Anna Smith of podcast, Girls on Film to talk about why today’s Disney princesses (from the likes of Frozen and Moana) are more interesting role models for young girls than their earlier counterparts.

Listen to the broadcast here.

Mrs Longstaff’s previous BBC interview on the subject is available here, and you can also read her blog, Be a Moana not a Cinderella.
