Putney’s Athena All Stars and Athena Voce performed alongside the world-renowned a cappella group ‘The Swingles’ in a special joint concert on the Performing Arts Centre stage.
‘The Swingles’ are internationally acclaimed for their flawless vocal technique, innovative arrangements, and genre-defying sound, blending jazz, classical, pop and contemporary music. They have multiple Grammy Awards to their name and are pioneers of modern a cappella performance.
Students joined the group in workshops throughout the afternoon to learn from the professionals and practice for the evening performance.
