The Putney community was treated to a private view of students’ GCSE and A Level Art, Product Design and Textiles work last week.
Opened by former Putney parent and current President of the Society of Women Artists Rachel Parker, the exhibition featured incredible making, artistry and design. As Rachel shared, “behind every work there is a story – one of ideas explored, risks taken and skills developed…It’s not about arriving at the same answers as everyone else, but about finding a response of your own. That takes a bit of courage.”
This fearless courage and intrepid creativity was truly on show in the student work exhibited across the school. We are immensely proud of all our creatives and look forward to seeing their skills continue to flourish.
