Putney U18 rowers saw great success in a historic qualification for the Henley Royal Regatta to compete for the Prince Philip Trophy.
The junior women’s eight event began in 2021 and is open to crews from any club or school, home and overseas. This year’s rowers were the first Putney High School team to compete in the event.
Putney rowers competed on day one of Henley against US team, TBC Racing, who took home victory on the day.
