Izabella H-T, Year 12, Rowing
Izabella is currently in the trialling process to represent GB Rowing at the Coupe de Jeunesse (European Championships) or she could be in contention for the World Championships in Canada this Summer.
In February Izabella participated in the first water trial of the season and previously has had to submit ergo tests. She came 27th/72 in the single GB Trials, and 8th in the pair with a SWPS partner.
Izabella was then selected in the top ranking group to attended the GB Spring Assessments on 23 – 26 April, where she came away with a ranking of 5th on Bowside in the country. If she keeps up her current momentum, it all bodes well for the summer selection process.
Meanwhile last year’s GB Quad (in which Izabella rows) retained their ‘best in the country status’ by taking the Gold at the National Scullery on 22 April. A big well done!
