Putney’s Class of 2025 is celebrating record breaking A Level results with students winning places at their first-choice universities from Oxford, Cambridge and leading Russell Group institutions to prestigious destinations in the US and Europe.

In Maths, the school’s most popular A level subject, more than two thirds of students achieved A*A with 100% A*A in Further Maths.
There were strong performances across the wide range of subjects, reflecting students’ many varied interests.

Excellence in STEM
Putney’s continued success in STEM means students will be reading Medicine at Oxford, Cardiff, Nottingham and St George’s amongst others as well as Veterinary Medicine at Liverpool; Engineering and Chemistry courses at Durham; Neuroscience and Applied Medical Sciences at UCL; Physics at St Andrews and Biological Sciences at Imperial.
Amongst other Oxbridge courses are History and Geography at Oxford and Modern and Medieval Languages, History, and Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion at Cambridge.
