A much awaited construction milestone was reached today in the build of our new Science, Music, Drama and Debating building. Headmistress Suzie Longstaff, accompanied by Cheryl Giovannoni, CEO of the Girl’s Day School Trust, and five members of the student build committee, donned their hard hats and high-vis jackets to climb the building site and tighten the final roof column. Mrs Longstaff said she was “delighted to share this moment with the GDST and members of the student build committee.”

Today marked the ceremonial "Topping Out" of our new Science, Music, Drama and Debating Centre. We were delighted to welcome Cheryl Giovannoni, CEO of the GDST to join us to mark the event.
The student build committee have been actively involved in each stage of the project and couldn’t believe the progress that had been made since they saw the first building plans two years ago. Jasmine, Iman, Ines, Issy and Govhar in Year 12 expressed their excitement to see the site.
