On Tuesday 28 March, in celebration of our love of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths), the Junior School hosted its second ‘Think like an Engineer’ challenge, involving pupils in a whole raft of exciting engineering projects.

Applying their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, pupils across the Junior School worked in small teams with a range of equipment to apply the Engineering Design Process, solving challenges and coming up with ingenious solutions to a range of questions and tasks, including bridge building.

From our apprentice engineers in Reception, through to our inspiring Year 6 prefects who led the IGNITE assembly, our pupils donned their critical thinking caps to invent, experiment and persevere to develop logic, concentration and independence.

As you can see, they were brimming with ideas and truly ‘Ignited the Engineering Spark’!
