PIE at Lunchtime: How can we effectively counter terrorism?

On Thursday 14 November we were delighted to welcome Rebecca Harvey as our PIE at Lunchtime host.

Rebecca is Head of the Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures and Royal Prerogative Team at the Home Office and was with us to tell us more about her work and to discuss, “How can we effectively counter terrorism?”.

The UK is the only country to publicly legislate the powers of its security services and Rebecca gave us an intriguing insight into the everyday decisions that are made in counter terrorism and the threats from new technologies and methodologies in global terrorism.
