There was enormous excitement at this weekend’s National Schools’ Regatta where Putney for the first time had two J18 women’s coxed fours in the final at Eton Dorney Lake.

The second boat came in 7th but our top four won gold, a whole 10 seconds ahead of Sir William Borlase Grammar in second place.

Many congratulations to everyone who raced but particularly gold medal winners: Annabel Zedda James, Molly Gradidge, Lucy Miles, Jasmine Moore and Lucy Thomas (cox).

Next up are the qualifier’s for Henley Women’s where Putney’s rowers won the under 16s trophy last year and will be hoping to retain their title, this time, in the U18s.
