This year, the theme for the GDST Creative Writing prize was Belonging and the entries were judged by Rachel Hore, an alumna of Sutton High School.

Putney High student, Molly D, was awarded the prize of highly commended for the Year 10 and 11 category.

Rachel said of Molly’s story entry;

“This suspenseful and unusual story about a lost mother is well-dramatised with a consistent elegiac tone.”

Well done Molly, this is a great achievement indeed.
