Headmistress Suzie Longstaff said, “At Putney High School the abundance of the elusive 9 at GCSE level is truly phenomenal. This is the second year running where our GCSE students have broken all of our records, with so many achieving at the highest level across the board.

“These students really embody the spirit of Putney with their love of learning and sense of intellectual curiosity, not to mention their myriad of other interests.  I am so proud of each and every one of them and their teachers, who supported and inspired them every step of the way.”

There were exceptional performances across the subject spectrum with stand-out results in Mathematics, English, Chinese Mandarin and Religious Studies. More than half of students received the top 9 grade in Mathematics with over 85% of students achieving 9/8 grades.
