From Putney to Iran – GDST Travel Scholarship Winner

The GDST Travel Scholarship offers students the opportunity to travel abroad to further their studies or take part in work experience.

This year, Helia in Year 13 is the proud winner of the Oakley Award, winning £500 towards the work experience which she plans to undertake in Iran this summer.

Helia is an aspiring doctor who is applying to study Medicine at Cambridge, UCL and Imperial among others. The scholarship will be put towards her two months of work experience where she will be shadowing doctors in a hospital.
