FOPHS 40km Walk

After a miraculous break in the winter weather on Sunday, we set off from the Putney High School Boat House at 7.30am in glorious sunshine. Spirits were high and everyone excelled at both the walking and the talking as we made our way along the Thames, taking in some of the best views of London town.

The first group of walkers completed 40km at an impressive pace arriving at The Spencer in just over 7 hours. The rest of us weren’t far behind and everyone was safe and rehydrating by 3.45pm.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a wonderful day and to everybody for such generous donations to FOPHS. We look forward to the next 40 years of fun, friendship and fundraising with our fabulous school community.
