To mark the end of Careers Week, we were delighted to welcome Emily Reuben into school to deliver an incredibly inspiring assembly to KS4 and 5 students. Emily shared her pathway to becoming a Channel 4 newsreader, providing top tips about breaking into journalism and highlighting how your career path might not be straight line.

She also spoke passionately about the charity she co-founded, Duchenne UK, the UK’s leading Duchenne muscular dystrophy charity following the diagnosis of her oldest son. Emily advocated the importance of utilising your network and skills, whatever life throws you.
