Year 10 Designers have been working with Minecraft Education to represent their architectural solutions for Croydon’s affordable housing context for the Design Future London 2023 Competition, run by Mayor of London and architect George Clarke.
The Mayor is working with MOBIE, Minecraft Education, C40, Mayor’s Fund for Londonand Croydon Council on a design challenge, the aim of which is to inspire young Londoners to develop an interest in designing beautiful, affordable and sustainable places to live, work and visit.
Through this challenge we want students to understand the exciting world that those of us who work in the built environment operate in. We want to see innovative and creative thinking, depth of understanding of the challenge and a new way to think about the response to the challenges we face!
