Achievements, Design, News, Senior School, STEM

We are excited that two Year 10 Design Technology students have been shortlisted for Design Future London run by the Mayor of London in association with George Clarke’s charity MOBIE!

This architecture competition has been conceived to design new housing for the Royal Docks in East London. This new development in East London is to be the new home for Sadiq Khan’s City Hall, with a commitment to create a built environment that is sustainable, diverse and inclusive.

Lucy and Rubani (both in Year 10) have been shortlisted in the 11-15 year old group and need our votes to get a People’s Vote Award at the Finalist Award Show on July 5th.

Lucy’s Slant House is Entry 10 – A Green House that has a dual roof of solar panels and planters.

Rubani’s Stax Houses are Entry 19 – An affordable community housing solution that combats loneliness for university students new to the city
